JLNPhenix to invest INR 200 Crore to expand its product portfolio in India
JLNPhenix Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore-based CLN Energy PTE Ltd, plans to enter into the manufacturing of EV Powertrain components at its new 3rd manufacturing unit at Hyderabad.
The company will manufacture e-mobility powertrain components at the Hyderabad plant, such as hub motors, mid-drive motors, motor controllers, DC-DC converters, wiring harnesses, and vehicle display units, said a company statement.
The Hyderabad manufacturing facility has an expected investment outlay of approximately INR 200 Crores.
The company already has two lithium-ion battery manufacturing plants in Noida and Pune and clocked a revenue of INR 122 crores last year.
Established in 2019, JLNPhenix Energy Pvt Ltd assembles Lithium-ion Batteries for applications like E2W, E3W, E4W, Traction, Drones, Residential and Industrial (ESS) Energy Storage Systems and other specialized use cases at its plants in Noida and Pune. The company caters to major EV OEMs, and the Hyderabad facility will further expand its market reach pan India. They’re also looking forward to expanding their employee strength, which currently stands at 300 plus.
