E-bus fleet operator LeafyBus to procure 200 electric buses from JBM
LeafyBus, a New Delhi-based EV bus company, has partnered with JBM Electric Vehicles (P) Ltd., from whom they will procure a total of 200 electric buses. The initial 50 buses will be introduced within the first 12 months, with the remaining 150 to follow in the subsequent year. The new fleet will operate across multiple routes in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, with potential expansion into Eastern and Southern India.
LeafyBus’ new electric buses will be equipped with CCTV surveillance, live tracking, and onboard assistance. The buses will also feature Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and high-speed chargers for long-range travel. Maintenance support will be available across North India. These features are intended to enhance passenger safety and provide a reliable travel experience for all customer segments.
