Tesla sells 61 and VinFast sells 21 Electric Cars in India in Sep 2025
Tesla and VinFast have entered the Indian automotive market with the launch of their first four-wheeler electric vehicles through limited rollouts.
Tesla, the U.S.-based electric vehicle manufacturer, sold 61 units in Sep 2025: 41 in Mumbai, 11 in Delhi, 5 in Pune, and one each in Thane, Amravati, Mira Bhayandar, and Gurugram. These vehicles are currently being imported as CBUs and are available in select cities.
Vietnamese OEM VinFast sold 21 units in September 2025, with 15 units in Telangana, 4 units in Surat, and one unit each in Delhi and Jaipur.
