Sibros and Accolade Electronics partner to enhance the capabilities of connected vehicles

Connected vehicle technology company Sibros has formed a strategic partnership with Accolade Electronics, a major player in connected telematics solutions in India. This collaboration aims to bolster the capabilities of connected vehicles by integrating Sibros’ solutions with Accolade’s embedded hardware systems through the real-time operating system, FreeRTOS, known for its compact size and reliability. FreeRTOS is a preferred choice for microcontroller-based systems. The incorporation of FreeRTOS is geared towards enhancing power efficiency, reducing hardware costs, and expediting deployment processes to meet both Sibros’ and Accolade’s diverse clientele.

This partnership paves the way for more efficient, profitable, and reliable embedded hardware solutions that align seamlessly with automotive OEMs’ existing offerings. Accolade Electronics reported deploying over 800,000 connected devices running successfully on various vehicle models. The automotive industry is undergoing significant changes with a shift towards electrification, connectivity, and automation. This collaboration is timed to address these industry dynamics and explore new avenues for innovation. Accolade’s established hardware is already integrated into various vehicle models, enabling Sibros to integrate its solutions into a broad spectrum of automotive OEM products.
