Rajasthan EV Benefits 2021 – summary

As per a notification (dated July 16, 2021) by the state transport department, the following benefits have been announced for the promotion of e-mobility in Rajasthan:

– Any EVs purchased between April 2021 to end of March 2022 (and registered by end of Mar 2022) will be eligible for the refund of SGST.

– Additional purchase incentive (over FAME 2) for electric 2Ws and 3Ws (in accordance with the battery capacity) purchased between the above mentioned period.

– For electric 2Ws, the state subsidy applies according to battery capacity – upto 2 kWh – INR 5,000, upto 4 kWh – INR 7,000, upto 5 kWh – INR 9,000 and more than 5kWh – INR 10,000.

– For electric 3Ws, the state subsidy applies according to battery capacity – upto 3 kWh – INR 10,000, upto 4 kWh – INR 15,000, upto 5 kWh – INR 17,000 and more than 5kWh – INR 20,000.
