Montra Electric launches SUPER CARGO e-3W in Bengaluru at ₹4.37 lakh
Montra Electric, a brand under TI Clean Mobility Private Limited (Murugappa Group), launched its electric three-wheeler, SUPER CARGO, in Bengaluru. Priced from ₹ 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, post-subsidy), the vehicle is positioned for use in last-mile cargo transport and is designed to meet operational and functional requirements in this segment.
The launch event included the participation of Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director, TI Clean Mobility Pvt. Ltd., Roy Kurian, Business Head – Last Mile Mobility, and Saju Nair, CEO – Small Commercial Vehicles, along with other company representatives.
According to the company, the SUPER CARGO is equipped with:
- 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery
- It offers a certified range of over 200 km and a real-world range of 170 km.
- The vehicle delivers a peak power output of 11 kW, 70 Nm torque, and has a gradeability of 23%.
- It has a gross vehicle weight of 1.2 tonnes, suitable for various cargo applications.
- Available in three body configurations: 170 cu.ft, 140 cu.ft, and tray deck.
- Variant options include Tray eCX, 140 cubic feet eCX d, 170 cubic feet eCX d+, Tray eQX, and 170 cubic feet eQX d+.
- Certain variants support a 15-minute full charging option, powered by Exponent Energy.
- The vehicle is built on a Boron steel chassis for structural strength.
- It features a 6.2-feet load tray to accommodate larger deliveries.
- Safety and convenience features include front disc brakes, hill hold function, reverse assist, regenerative braking, seat belt provision, and multiple drive modes.
- The vehicle is available in four colour options: Chilli Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue, and Stallion Brown.
The SUPER CARGO is now available for booking through dealerships in over 90 cities.
