Kanv Garg appointed as president and chief growth officer at Gensol group

Kanv Garg has been appointed as the President and Chief Growth Officer of Gensol Group, a player in the clean energy and mobility sector.

Kanv will lead expansion efforts, formulate development and implementation of overall medium to long-term strategic plans, promote collaboration by working closely with the founders and entity-level CXOs within the organization. His background includes advisory roles for national and sub-national Government entities, International Funding Institutions (IFIs), leading industrial conglomerates, global energy players, auto OEMs, non-profits, start-ups, and leading investment funds. With a strong background in both energy and mobility sectors, Kanv has tackled strategic challenges involving implementation, program design, investments, and partnerships.

Before becoming part of the Gensol Group, Kanv held the position of Director of Corporate Strategy for the New Mobility Business at the Petromin Corporation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Prior to this role, he was the eMobility Energy Lead at EY Parthenon, contributing both in the Middle East and India. He made notable contributions in the solar sector through his involvement with organizations such as the World Bank Group, the Planning Commission of India, SunEdison, and Evalueserve.

Gensol has an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Pune for the development and production of electric three-wheelers and four-wheelers.
