ChargeIndia Launches EV Charging Aggregation Platform with 40+ CPOs

ChargeIndia, an EV charging aggregation and interoperability platform, has launched a platform that allows users to access multiple public charging networks through a single app. At launch, it brings together more than 40 charge point operators (CPOs) across 1,200+ cities. Electric car owners can use the app to locate charging stations, check availability, navigate to a station, initiate charging and make payments through UPI. The app is available on Android and iOS.

According to the Ministry of Heavy Industries, India had 52,718 public charging stations as of July 2026, including 16,561 fast-charging stations for cars. The Ministry of Power has also issued guidelines for EV charging infrastructure, including provisions related to interoperability and connectivity.

ChargeIndia said its platform enables users to make payments directly through UPI for individual charging sessions, without maintaining prepaid balances across different charging networks. The charging networks available through the platform include Statiq, ChargeMOD and ChargeZone, among others.

Devbrat Hariyani, Founder, ChargeIndia, said, “EV charging should work like any other essential service; consumers should be able to use it without having to understand which network sits behind it. That is the principle on which we have built ChargeIndia. We are creating a neutral platform that allows CPOs to remain independent while giving consumers a simpler way to access charging across networks. Our ambition is not to own the charging network, but to become the layer that makes different networks work together.”

ChargeIndia also said its technology can be integrated with other digital platforms. OEMs, mobility platforms and other consumer-facing applications can use the platform to connect with multiple charging networks without developing separate integrations with individual CPOs.
