BGauss inaugurates plant for electric 2Ws in Chakan

RR Global have ventured into the Electric Vehicle space with brand name BGauss. The company inaugurated the plant at Chakan, Pune on 29th July, 2020 and will enter the market with two models namely B8 (flagship high-speed scooter) and A2 (low speed scooter).

Here’s looking at the main specifications of both of the models:

BGauss B8

BGauss B8 e-scooter is powered by a 1900 W Bosch motor and will be available in both Lithium-ion and Lead Acid battery models. The scooter will offer a range of 70 km with Li-ion battery and 78 km with a lead-acid battery.

B8 has 3 driving modes: Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3. The top speed for Mode 1 is 36 kmph, for Mode 2 is 42 kmph, and for Mode 3 is 50 kmph. Other features include the CBS system, find your scooter feature, reverse mode, side stand sensor, USB charging, remote (lock and unlock), anti-theft alarm etc.

BGauss A2

Low speed A2 e-scooter is RTO exempted and being a non-registered low speed vehicle, the A2 is meant for commuting on internal roads and short distances. Can be driven in three modes according to requirement and convenience .

Ex-showroom prices: A2 Lithium-ion – INR 67,999 | A2 Lead Acid – INR 52,499

The bookings for both BGauss e-scooters are currently open for Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Panvel and can be made through company website.
