BGauss Launches Oowah Electric Scooter at ₹1,22,990
Electric two-wheeler manufacturer BGauss has launched the Oowah electric scooter in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹1,22,990. The scooter is now available across BGauss dealerships in India, targeting urban commuters, Gen Z customers and first-time electric two-wheeler buyers, with deliveries now underway.

- Battery: 3.0 kWh CAN-enabled removable Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery
- Range: 145 km, ARAI-certified
- Top speed: 60 km/h
- Features: Reverse assist, side-stand sensor, distance-to-empty indicator, side-stand sensor, USB charging and full LED lighting
- Storage: Under-seat storage
- Colours: Emerald Shadow, Jamun Punch, Zesty Red and Tangy Toma
The removable battery allows users to charge it indoors, including in cases where dedicated home charging infrastructure is not available.
Commenting on the launch, Hemant Kabra, Founder, BGauss, said, “The Indian two-wheeler buyer is changing faster than most product portfolios have kept pace with Gen Z wants products that are expressive, contemporary, and enjoyable to own. With Oowah, we are introducing a new category that blends bold design with trusted electric mobility. According to the company, electric two-wheeler sales in India crossed 1.11 million units during the first seven months of 2026, while monthly penetration crossed 11%. BGauss said the Oowah expands its product portfolio into the youth and first-time buyer segment, in addition to its existing commuter and performance-oriented models.
Founded in 2020 by Hemant Kabra, BGauss operates under the RR Global group and manufactures electric two-wheelers for the Indian market. The company has 182 dealerships and more than 350 customer touchpoints across India.
