Wardwizard unveils 6 EV concept models and hydrogen fuel cell technology at Gujarat Global Summit 2024

An Indian manufacturer of electric vehicles, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited unveiled six concept models of electric vehicles at the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The showcased concepts include two high-speed electric scooters under the brand name “Joy e-bike” and four electric commercial vehicles, under the banner of “Joy e-rik”, includes a 6-seater golf cart, a garbage vehicle, an e-cart, and an e-loader vehicle. The company also presented an electric vehicle (EV) ancillary cluster model with in-house manufacturing capabilities for essential EV components like assembly lines, motors, controllers, battery packs, and cells.

During the summit, Wardwizard introduced next-gen hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technology. The company showcased a prototype of a hydrogen-based fuel cell-powered scooter. The hydrogen-based fuel cell technology is currently in the research and development stage and represents a significant step towards addressing the needs of future users, with potential applications across various vehicle segments, including utility vehicles. This initiative involves a collaboration with Triton EV, illustrating a cooperative effort to explore innovation within the electric vehicle sector.

Wardwizard’s recent partnership with A&S Power focuses on advancing next-generation Li-ion cell technology and manufacturing GAJA Cells, as claimed by the official source. These technological advancements will be featured alongside other concepts during the summit.

As per the official statement, Wardwizard made substantial investments across critical areas under the recently signed INR 2,000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat. This encompasses:

• a research and development of electric two and three-wheelers,
• establishment of a motor assembly facility in Vadodara,
• Li-ion cell production, and
• development of ancillaries for raw material manufacturing.

The initiative is expected to create over 5,000 employment opportunities within the state, potentially impacting both the electric mobility sector and the regional job market significantly.
