Tresa Motors secures pre-order for 1000 electric trucks from JFK Transporters

Tresa Motors, a Bangalore based startup manufacturer of medium and heavy electric trucks, has secured a pre-order of 1000 trucks from JFK Transporters, a logistics company, as part of their collaboration to roll out electric trucks.

Tresa trucks feature a maximum torque of 24000Nm and a top speed of 120 km/h, with a 300kWh battery allowing for a 15-minute charge time (10-80% SOC). They are built on the Axial Flux Motor Platform Flux 350™ and equipped with the Meg50™ 800V 50 kWh self-contained battery pack module. As per the company statement, these trucks offer performance, cooling capabilities, efficiency, size, and flexibility, enclosed in IP69 self-contained enclosures with embedded active-liquid cooling for tailored ranges based on payload, ensuring cost-effectiveness for customers.

The collaboration between Tresa Motors and JFK Transporters allows Tresa Motors to showcase its electric trucking capabilities. At the same time, JFK Transporters benefits from early access to advanced electric trucks, improving fleet performance and efficiency. The company has been sent further questions regarding the delivery timeline of the vehicles and Tresa Motors’ manufacturing capacity. This write-up will be updated once those queries are answered.
