TATA.ev Launches New Punch.ev at ₹9.69 Lakh

TATA.ev launched the new Punch.ev in India at an introductory price of ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The company is also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option starting at ₹6.49 lakh with a battery EMI of ₹2.6 per km. The vehicle is built on the acti.ev architecture.

The new Punch.ev comes with two battery options: 40 kWh and 30 kWh LFP prismatic cell battery packs. The 40 kWh battery delivers a C75 real-world range of approximately 355 km and an ARAI-certified (P1+P2) range of 468 km.

The vehicle supports fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in 26 minutes. It can add 135 km of real-world range in 15 minutes. The Punch.ev comes with a lifetime HV battery warranty with unlimited kilometer coverage.

TATA.ev’s charging network includes over 2.3 lakh charging points across 1,500 cities, including home, community, and public charging. The company has aggregated over 30,000 public chargers through 30+ charge point operators. It has 2,500+ .ev Verified fast chargers across 500 cities and 450+ charging points across 130+ Mega Charging Hubs on 80 highways, with a target to expand to 800 highway charging points by FY26. Charger availability and payments can be accessed through the IRA.ev app.
