Shema Electric unveils high-speed electric scooters| Eagle+ and TUFF+
Shema E-Vehicle & Solar Pvt Ltd (SES), an Indian electric scooter manufacturer, has recently unveiled its latest high-speed models, Eagle+ and TUFF+. The vehicles are being produced in the company’s manufacturing units in Manesar and Odisha.
The TUFF+ model serves as a multi-utility electric vehicle loader with a capacity of 150 kg and a top speed of 60 km/hr. On the other hand, the Eagle+ is designed for passenger use with a maximum speed of 50 km/hr. Both models have added features like Bluetooth speakers, anti-theft alarms, USB charging ports, and central locking systems. Eagle+ is equipped with Sun Mobility’s IP67 waterproof swappable battery, offering cost-effective benefits to riders, especially for last-mile deliveries. These scooters are available at Shema’s dealer showrooms across India, starting at an introductory price of INR 139,999 for TUFF+ and INR 117,199 for Eagle+ (both ex-showroom prices). Additionally, they qualify for FAME II and state-level subsidies based on geographical location.
A company statement also said that it has established multiple production partnerships with prominent EV distributors and marketplaces, with over 20,000 electric vehicles deployed to aggregators to date.
Since its inception in 2016, Shema Electric has been manufacturing its low-speed electric scooters.
