Oben Electric launches Rorr EZ Sigma at ₹1.27 lakh

Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced the launch of its new model, Rorr EZ Sigma, at an introductory price of ₹1.27 lakh for a limited period. The Rorr EZ Sigma is designed for city commuting and incorporates hardware and software updates compared to the earlier Rorr EZ model.

The Rorr EZ Sigma is available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery variants, priced at ₹1.27 lakh and ₹1.37 lakh, respectively, during the launch period. Prices will later increase to ₹1.47 lakh and ₹1.55 lakh. Bookings are open at ₹2,999, with EMIs starting from the same amount. Test rides are underway at Oben Electric showrooms, deliveries begin August 15, 2025, and the model is also available on Amazon.

The Rorr EZ Sigma uses Oben’s in-house developed LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery platform. According to the company, the battery provides higher temperature resistance and longer lifespan. Both variants deliver a top speed of 95 km/h, a 0–40 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds, and 52 Nm of torque. The IDC range is up to 175 km. It also includes three ride modes—Eco, City, and Havoc—and supports fast charging (0–80% in 1.5 hours).

Additionally, Oben Electric is offering an 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty under its Battery Protect 8/80 Plan at ₹9,999. The warranty is transferable and aimed at providing post-sale support.

The Rorr EZ Sigma includes a one-year subscription to the Oben Electric app, which provides GPS-enabled vehicle tracking (‘Find My Rorr’), geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, alerts, access to charging station locations, and anti-theft functions such as remote lock.

The Rorr EZ Sigma is equipped with reverse mode, a 5-inch TFT colour display that supports navigation, trip data, and call, message, and music alerts. It includes a modified seat design and is available in a new Electric Red colour, along with existing options—Photon White, Electro Amber, and Surge Cyan. The motorcycle is built on Oben’s ARX frame and includes 200 mm ground clearance, a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and a Driver Alert System (DAS). Additional features include wide tyres, a 230 mm water-wading capacity, geo-fencing-based theft alerts, battery theft lock, and vandalism protection.

Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO, Oben Electric, said, “The launch of Rorr EZ Sigma represents a decisive step forward in our journey to shape the future of city commuting. With this next-generation model, we’ve gone beyond incremental upgrades to address the deeper expectations of today’s commuter, combining intelligence, comfort, and reliability in a motorcycle that’s built for India. Rorr EZ Sigma reflects our continued commitment to engineering electric motorcycles that are not just technologically advanced but meaningfully aligned with real-world usage and aspirations.”
