Mahindra unveils metal-bodied e-3W Treo Plus at INR 3.58 lakh

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) announces the launch of its latest electric three-wheeler, the Treo Plus, featuring a metal body. Priced at INR 3.58 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Since its launch in 2018, Mahindra’s Treo has gained popularity, with over 50,000 units sold to date. These Treo autos have collectively covered a distance of 1.10 billion kilometers and have contributed to saving approximately 18,500 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions. Additionally, they provide micro-entrepreneurial opportunities to individuals. The Treo auto holds an estimated 52% market share in the L5M EV category.

In response to customer feedback, Mahindra, in collaboration with its finance partners, has introduced few offers. These include extending the loan tenure to 60 months and providing options for up to 90% financing, along with low down payment schemes.

Customers can benefit from Mahindra’s wide spread service network and a standard warranty of 5 years or 120,000 kilometers on the metal-bodied Treo Plus. The vehicle specifications includes a 10.24 kWh battery capacity, 8 kW power output, 42 Nm torque, With a wheelbase of 2073 mm and Hill Hold Assist, and a driving range of over 150 kilometers on a single charge.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited also introduces the UDAY program, offering drivers a INR 10 lakh accident insurance cover for the first year upon purchasing the Treo metal body.
