Log9 unveiled Amphion, an EV asset management solution, and NexMile, a commercial EV battery pack, at Day Zero 2024

Log9, a start-up company specializing in battery cell technology and EV mobility products, recently revealed a significant change by renaming its mobility business as Amphion, focusing on EV asset management. This announcement took place during Log9’s annual event, Day Zero 2024, with notable attendees including Mr. Narayana Murthy, former CEO and Co-Founder of Infosys, and Mr. Sonam Wangchuk, an Education Reformist and Climate Activist who served as the Guest of Honour.

As per the official statement, Amphion aims to address challenges in the commercial EV industry, including financing, data analytics, charging infrastructure, and energy efficiency. Its suite of services caters to stakeholders across the EV ecosystem, offering solutions to optimize asset utilization, minimize downtime, and ensure cost-effective operations.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO, Log9 said, “Day Zero 2024, our Foundation Day’s 9th edition, was a groundbreaking milestone as we unveiled Amphion. This represents a major leap forward in addressing reliability, servicing, financing, charging infrastructure, business insight, and energy efficiency through a data-driven approach. In addition to the Amphion launch, Log9 introduced Nexmile, a new battery designed for commercial electric vehicles. Nexmile offers features such as extended battery life, a 5-year warranty, faster charging, and a real-world range of 120 kilometers. Log9 currently operates about 2500 EV assets on the road, connecting 600 charging stations, and manages assets worth 100 crore for over 150 fleets. The company achieves a servicing turnaround time of 2.7 days and experiences steady growth of 20-30% month-on-month.
