Mahindra Electric launches Treo Zor – To offer best in class payload capacity
Mahindra Electric has launched its first EV in L5 cargo category – Treo Zor, built on the Treo Auto Platform. The EV is designed to cater to first and last mile deliveries. Have a look at the main specifications of the vehicle:

Treo Zor Variants
Treo Zor will be available in 3 variants for different use cases. The variants and their respective prices (ex-showroom in Delhi, post FAME II subsidy) are given below:
1. Treo Zor Pick up Flat Bed – INR 2.73 lakhs
2. Treo Zor Pick up – INR 2.79 lakhs
3. Treo Zor Delivery van – INR 3.08 lakhs
Cost comparison with Diesel Counterparts
Treo Zor is expected to provide annual savings worth more than INR 60,000 over a diesel counterpart.

Mahindra Electric claims the operating expense for Treo Zor to be Re. 1 per km (inclusive of fuel cost of 61 paisa per km and maintenance cost of 40 paisa per km), and Total Cost of Ownership for the EV will amount to INR 5.1 per km – providing average net savings of INR 4,26,898 over a 7 year ownership period, as compared to a diesel vehicle in the same category.
