Mahindra Electric launches new electric 3-Wheeler ‘Zor Grand’ starting at INR 3.60 lakh, ex-showroom Bengaluru
Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited launched the new electric 3-wheeler “Zor Grand” at an event in JW Marriott, Bangalore. The product is priced, starting at INR 3.60 lakh, ex-showroom Bengaluru. Mahindra has 12,000+ bookings of the Zor Grand through Memoranda of Understanding with logistic companies like Mahindra Logistics, Magenta EV Solutions, MoEVing, EVnow, Yelo EV, and Zyngo.
The trust in the Mahindra Zor Grand has been enabled by in-house competencies in the areas of battery, motor and telematics backed by rigorous validation and experience of putting more than 50,000+ 3-wheeler EVs on the road, said a company statement. The vehicle has been developed considering the feedback received from multiple customers and fleet operators.
The upgraded Mahindra Zor Grand offers:
- 100+km real-world range
- Peak power – 12 kW
- 50 Nm Torque
- 6ft loading tray
- 170 CFT OEM manufactured metal body
- 3-side opening cargo tray
- Gradeability of 11.5 degree
- Extended battery warranty (5yrs/1,50,000 km)
- Vehicle warranty of 3 years/80,000 km
The company claims that the vehicle will help the customers save up to INR 600,000 in ownership costs in five years as compared with diesel and up to INR 300,000 as compared with CNG cargo three-wheelers.



Sudhindra Reddy, Co-Founder at Turno, shared that “Turno has entered into a partnership with Mahindra Group for 2,000 units of Mahindra Zor Grand. This powerful vehicle has a 170 CFT OEM manufactured metal body (an upgrade from the fabric body in the Treo Zor). We are thrilled about this partnership, and these 2000 vehicles will be made available to a wide retail customer base pan INDIA through Turno this year.”
