Logistics startup Evify mobilises $1.3M in Pre-Series A funding
GVFL and Piper Serica have co-led a $1.3 million (Rs. 10.6 crore) Pre-Series A funding round in Evify, a logistics startup based in Surat. Founded in 2021, Evify focuses on decarbonizing the logistics sector through its fleet of electric vehicles (EVs) used in e-commerce, food delivery, grocery delivery, and hyperlocal delivery. Evify currently operates a fleet of 400+ EVs in Surat and Ahmedabad and plans to use the funds to expand its fleet to 4,000 bikes by March 2025.

GVFL, a venture capital in India, has raised nine funds and invested in nearly 100 startups, contributing to entrepreneurship and innovation in the country. The firm focuses on scalable, innovative business models backed by credible teams.
As per the company statement, Evify is developing an in-house technology platform covering fleet management, driver management, route optimization, battery management system, telematics, financing and loan management, credit risk analysis, and client access to insights. This platform aims to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and provide actionable intelligence for logistics management and expansions in multiple locations. Evify’s client base includes Big Basket, BB Now, Swiggy, Zomato, Flipkart, e-Com Express, and Blue Dart. Looking ahead, Evify plans to collaborate with ancillary industries, including EV makers, vendors, battery manufacturers, and battery swapping companies, to develop the complete infrastructure for EV vehicles in the country, as claimed by the source statement.
