SAR Group’s Livguard acquires Emuron Technologies

On December 20, 2023, Livguard, a player in the Energy Storage and Solutions sector under the SAR group, announced its acquisition of Emuron Technologies, a provider of Battery Swapping and Battery Intelligence Solutions for 2W and 3W Electric Vehicles (EVs). Notably, the SAR Group, known for its brands like Livguard, LivPure, Livfast, Moov-ing, etc., recently entered the electric two-wheeler market with Lectrix EV. The group has also invested in e-motorcycle OEM Orxa Energies.

Emuron Technologies has a battery-swapping portfolio and IoT solutions tailored for 2W and 3W EVs. Livguard, a brand in inverters, automotive batteries, solar solutions, and lithium batteries, views this acquisition as a means to fortify its position in the 2 & 3-wheeler EV market.
