Exicom launches Harmony Direct 2.0 to support EV charging infrastructure
Exicom, a provider of EV charging and critical power solutions, has launched Harmony Direct 2.0, a DC fast charger developed to address challenges in electric vehicle (EV) adoption. The product was introduced at an industry event hosted by Exicom on 21 May 2025 at Roseate House, New Delhi.
According to the company, Harmony Direct 2.0 is intended to support operational stability, cost efficiency, and functionality in EV charging infrastructure. The charger runs on Harmony OS, an indigenously developed operating system that facilitates communication between the charger, electric vehicle, and cloud. The system includes sensor-based diagnostics and Harmony Connect, an AI-based platform for remote monitoring and management platform designed to reduce downtime and support station operations.
“Reliability and trust are central to accelerating EV adoption in India,” said Anant Nahata, Managing Director and CEO, Exicom. “With Harmony Direct 2.0, we’ve engineered a product that transcends traditional charging solutions, and sets a new standard for infrastructure robustness, operational economics, and intuitive user experience. This product reflects our deep understanding of both global technology trends and local market demands, solidifying our commitment to India’s EV ecosystem.”
Highlighting the technology, Anshuman Divyanshu, CEO, EVSE Business, Exicom, added, “Harmony Direct 2.0 is meticulously crafted to deliver exceptional efficiency and operational intelligence, bringing in attributes that that matter the most for charge point and fleet operators. This product will help them scale with confidence.”
The charger features include:

- Dynamic load sharing and manages reactive losses to control energy costs.
- Harmony Net for real-time power distribution across multiple chargers, enabling flexible deployment.
- Multi-stack charging that supports various operational configurations.
- An interface and hardware design that accommodate both fleet operators and individual users.
As EV adoption progresses in India, the reliability of supporting infrastructure is expected to be a key factor. Exicom has introduced Harmony Direct 2.0 as a charging system intended to address both current and anticipated infrastructure requirements.
