Evera plans fleet expansion to 4,500 electric vehicles by June 2026
Evera, an app-based electric mobility platform operated by Prakriti E-Mobility, plans to expand its fleet from around 500 vehicles to 4,500 by June 2026, adding 2,500 electric vehicles by the end of the current financial year (March 2026) as part of its growth strategy in India’s EV sector.
Earlier this year, Signodrive Technologies leased 4,000 electric vehicles from Gensol Engineering under NCLT through the IRP (Insolvency Resolution Process) for deployment on the Evera platform. Evera has also received USD 2 million in funding from an investor associated with Signodrive Technologies, which the company said will be used for EV infrastructure development, fleet management upgrades, and the integration of operational technologies.
Evera provides services to individual and enterprise customers, including airport transfers, intercity travel, corporate transportation, daily commutes, and hourly rentals. Airport transfers make up a large part of its consumer operations, while corporate clients primarily use the platform for employee transportation. The company said its expansion responds to growing demand for electric mobility services in the Delhi NCR region.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Nimish Trivedi, Co-Founder and CEO of Evera, said, “The funding from Signodrive Technologies will strengthen our infrastructure and operational capabilities while accelerating the enhancement of our technology platform as we expand premium electric mobility across the region. Our foray into the premium B2C segment underscores our commitment to operational excellence, service reliability, and sustainable mobility. Signodrive technology arm will play a key role in advancing our technology capabilities and supporting this growth.”
