Adani TotalEnergies and EV cab company Evera to build a charging hub in Delhi

Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL), a fully owned subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited and functioning as a Charge Point Operator in India, is collaborating with Prakriti E-Mobility (Evera), an all-electric cab aggregator, to build a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure. This collaboration involves the creation of a substantial EV charging hub in Samalkha, New Delhi, featuring 200 EV charging points.

The EV charging station in Samalkha will be accessible to both individual EV owners and other aggregators, promoting collaborative use and enhancing the electric vehicle ecosystem in New Delhi. This model will then be duplicated across India. ATEL and Evera will establish this infrastructure through a revenue-sharing approach. The joint efforts of ATEL and Evera intend to bridge the existing gaps in EV infrastructure by providing convenient and fast-charging solutions at key locations such as highways, workplaces, and other locations with convenient and fast-charging AC and DC solutions.

We are already engaged with Evera for operating its cluster hub at Okhla, Delhi. The upcoming hub is strategically located in close proximity to the Delhi International Airport and will support Evera to provide green rides to customers. The hub will include the commissioning of approximately 200 EV charging points, which will be a combination of AC & DC chargers,” said Suresh P. Manglani, CEO & ED, ATGL.
