Deeptech Startup Adiabatic Technologies Raises ₹8.3 Crore in Seed Funding
Adiabatic Technologies, a company developing lithium-ion battery systems for industrial applications, has raised ₹8.3 crore in a Seed funding round led by Malpani Ventures and Avinya Ventures. The round also saw participation from Appreciate Capital, DeVC, Operators Studio (San Francisco), and UPES Incubator.
The company said the funds will be used to expand its manufacturing capacity to 100 MWh annually, support product development, strengthen its engineering team, and scale deployment of its battery systems across sectors including robotics, defence, drones, electric mobility, marine, agri-equipment, and industrial energy storage.
Founded in 2022 by IIT Hyderabad alumnus Darshan Meher, Adiabatic Technologies is an Ahilyanagar- and Pune-based company that designs and manufactures lithium-ion battery packs, battery chargers, and Battery Management Systems (BMS) for OEMs. According to the company, it has deployed more than 20,000 battery systems across over 25 OEMs operating in robotics, defence, drones, agri-equipment, electric vehicles, and solar energy.

The capital will help us expand manufacturing, strengthen our engineering team, and continue investing in product development.”

According to the company, Adiabatic designs its battery systems in-house, including cell selection, battery pack architecture, thermal management, and Battery Management Systems (BMS). Its battery systems are intended for applications requiring high discharge rates, rapid charging, battery monitoring, and thermal management. The company said it is expanding its product portfolio for robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), industrial automation, unmanned aerial systems, and other industrial applications.
