CollarEV unveils ‘Moon’ electric two-wheeler for logistics use, starting at ₹79,999
CollarEV, an electric mobility company, has introduced ‘Moon’, an electric two-wheeler designed for B2B delivery and logistics applications. The company stated that the vehicle has been developed to support last-mile delivery and commercial mobility use cases. It is expected to be priced between ₹79,999 and ₹89,999, with pre-bookings available on the company’s website.
The vehicle is powered by a 51.2 V, 45 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a capacity of 2.3 kWh. CollarEV claims the electric two-wheeler offers a range of approximately 135 km on a single charge. The vehicle supports charging from 0–80% in around two hours and a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours.
It is equipped with a BLDC hub motor that delivers 1500 W rated power and 2200 W peak power, with a top speed of 50 km/h. The company states that the vehicle produces 95 Nm torque at the wheel. The two-wheeler is fitted with dual disc brakes, 12-inch wheels, and has a payload capacity of up to 150 kg.
The vehicle includes a TFT display with telematics features for asset tracking and fleet monitoring. It also features keyless start and stop functionality. CollarEV stated that the platform supports multiple utility attachment options for different delivery and logistics applications.
According to the company, the LFP battery pack is designed to support more than 1,000 charging cycles. CollarEV stated that it will offer a battery replacement or upgrade option supported by IoT-based monitoring for tracking battery health and performance, and is also testing supercapacitor-assisted battery technology to improve charging speed and battery lifecycle.
The vehicle is targeted at last-mile delivery companies, logistics operators, fleet operators, mobility aggregators, and delivery workers. CollarEV stated that it can also be used for applications such as milk distribution, vegetable delivery, small retail logistics, rural transport, and agricultural supply movement. The company plans an initial rollout in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, as well as rural and semi-urban markets.
Commenting on the launch, Tikendra Yadav, Founder of CollarEV, said “Much of the current B2B electric two-wheeler market in India is dominated by low-cost imported vehicles that often face challenges in durability and after-sales reliability. With our new EV for the B2B segment, our goal is to address this gap by developing a purpose-built electric vehicle with a minimalist yet robust structural design that reduces maintenance requirements while ensuring long-term performance. The fully metal chassis and body structure make it particularly suited for demanding commercial and fleet operations. It reflects our commitment to building reliable electric mobility solutions for businesses, and as part of our broader vision, we are also preparing to launch this B2C electric scooter between May and June to serve the growing consumer EV market which will be first in segment.”
As per industry data, India’s two-wheeler market crossed 20 million units in 2025, including about 1.4 million electric two-wheelers. CollarEV stated that most current electric two-wheelers are consumer-focused, while delivery and logistics applications remain a separate segment. The company was founded by Tikendra Yadav, who also founded Pepfuels in 2017, an ONGC-funded startup. CollarEV focuses on developing electric vehicle solutions for two-wheeler mobility and is working on battery technologies, including EDLC battery systems aimed at improving charging time and operational performance.
