Ather 450X third generation launched
The HeroMotocorp-backed Electric two-wheeler startup Ather Energy has launched the 3rd Generation of the 450X model. This model receives a significant upgrade over the previous generation in terms of battery capacity, riding dynamics, and some fresh new features for user convenience.
Here’s what has changed from the previous generation.

The most significant change is the battery capacity, which Ather claims to have a 20 % longer life, 25% more capacity than the previous generation, along with having better thermals. The EV offers a range of 75 km in sport mode and 65km in warp mode.
Ather has equipped the 3rd gen 450X with a new set of MRF performance tyres, which claim to offer 22% better grip over all kinds of terrain while reducing the braking distance of the vehicle by 4 metres over the previous gen. Ather is now also offering a TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) as an accessory which would alert the rider in case of low tyre pressure. The new mirrors on the 3 gen model offer twice the visibility, and these sets of mirrors can also be fitted onto previous generation vehicles. For pillion comfort, Ather is now offering a side step made of Cast aluminium.
All of these upgrades, now come with a new price tag of INR 1,39,007 (Ex-showroom Delhi). Above is the price list of the 3rd Gen 450 X and the 450 plus.
