Oben Electric launches Rorr EVO electric motorcycle at ₹99,999

Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the Rorr EVO electric motorcycle at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. Post the introductory offer, the model will be priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings are open at ₹777, with test rides and deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2026 across 150 showrooms in India.

The Rorr EVO has a claimed top speed of 110 km/h and an IDC range of 180 km. It accelerates from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds and supports fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes using the company’s fast charger. The motorcycle is powered by an IP68-rated 9 kW motor paired with a single-stage chain drive and a 3.4 kWh LFP battery. The battery is housed in an aluminium structure and is offered with an 8-year warranty.

The model introduces SmartIQ, an AI-based ride mode that adjusts power delivery based on riding patterns. According to the company, it can increase range by up to 15%.

The Rorr EVO includes a 5-inch colour TFT display with navigation and smartphone connectivity features such as call, message, and music alerts. App-based functions include ride history, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection, and vehicle tracking through the ‘Find My Rorr’ feature, along with 24×7 service support. The company also provides access to a 68,000+ charging network.

Safety features include fall detection with emergency alerts, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and a Driver Alert System (DAS). The motorcycle has a seat height of 780 mm, ground clearance of 200 mm, and water-wading capability of 230 mm. It also includes 10 litres of storage and dual USB charging ports. A reverse mode is provided for low-speed maneuvering.
