Kinetic Green launches E-Luna Prime electric two-wheeler at ₹82,490
Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited (manufacturer of electric two- and three-wheelers), has announced the launch of the E-Luna Prime, an electric two-wheeler for India’s commuter motorcycle segment.
The E-Luna Prime builds on the company’s E-Luna platform, which has sold over 25,000 units since its introduction a few months ago. With this launch, Kinetic Green is expanding into the commuter motorcycle category.

The model is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, LED headlamp, single seat, visor, body decals, rim tape, side cladding, and tubeless tyres. It also offers a front-loading area for carrying goods. The vehicle is available in two variants with claimed ranges of 110 km and 140 km, priced at ₹82,490 (ex-showroom). It will be offered in six colour options through the company’s dealership network.
According to the company, the E-Luna Prime is targeted at individuals who currently rely on 100cc and 110cc internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles. Kinetic Green estimates the monthly ownership cost of the model to be about ₹2,500, including EMI and running expenses, compared to approximately ₹7,500 for ICE motorcycles. The vehicle is stated to have an energy consumption cost of about 10 paise per kilometre.
The company projects potential savings of up to ₹60,000 annually for users compared to petrol-based motorcycles. It also highlighted the vehicle’s potential use beyond commuting, such as for small cargo transport and business-related operations.
On the launch of the E-Luna Prime, Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, said the model is aimed at addressing the mobility needs of India’s commuter motorcycle segment. She highlighted that consumer research indicated a gap in affordable and practical two-wheeler solutions, which the company seeks to address with the E-Luna Prime. According to her, the model has been positioned to offer lower ownership costs and wider accessibility for personal mobility in India.
Kinetic Green currently operates through a network of over 300 dealerships across India. The company has also entered into a joint venture with Tonino Lamborghini of Italy for manufacturing electric golf and lifestyle carts at its facility near Pune. In addition, it recently raised $25 million in Series A funding from Greater Pacific Capital, a UK-based private equity fund.
