VE Commercial Vehicles partner with Statiq for Eicher EV charging access
VE Commercial Vehicles (a Volvo Group-Eicher Motors JV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Statiq, an EV charging solutions provider. This collaboration aims to support the adoption of Eicher electric vehicles, including the newly launched Eicher Pro X range of Small Commercial Vehicles. The partnership will provide charging solutions for Eicher truck and bus customers in India. Statiq will offer access to its network of over 8,000 charging points from various charge point operators on its aggregated platform.
Under the terms of the partnership, Statiq will also serve as a preferred partner for the supply and installation of AC and DC chargers for Eicher EV Truck and Bus users. The companies will integrate Statiq’s network with the MyEicher app, a connected fleet management solution. This integration will provide users with visibility of charging stations, navigation assistance, and tariff information. To encourage EV adoption, both companies will introduce offers and tariffs for Eicher truck and bus operators.

Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, Sales & Marketing, Small Commercial Vehicles, VECV, said, “Our partnership with Statiq marks a significant step forward in strengthening the EV ecosystem for commercial transportation in India. By offering an integrated solution to customers through the industry leading MyEicher App, we aim to deliver a hassle-free and reliable experience to our customers. This collaboration will also empower Eicher Pro X electric customers with enhanced convenience, confidence, and operational efficiency, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation.”
Speaking about the collaboration, Mr. Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder, Statiq, said, “Our partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles is a milestone in our journey to create a strong and efficient EV charging ecosystem for commercial vehicles in India. By integrating our expansive charging network with VECV’s MyEicher, we aim to provide users with a seamless, tech-driven charging experience that removes barriers to EV adoption. With this initiative, we are committed to enabling a smoother, faster transition to electric mobility for commercial vehicle operators.”
VECV and Statiq will establish a support ecosystem, including call center access, service ticket management, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance services. A dedicated Point of Contact (POC) system will also be implemented. Statiq will identify and highlight charging hubs with sufficient infrastructure and parking space on MyEicher.
The partnership also seeks to support India’s EV ecosystem through turnkey projects covering the installation, operations, and maintenance of charging stations. Additionally, shared infrastructure, mobile charging options, and revenue-sharing models for channel partners hosting charging stations will be introduced.
