Trevel launches EV cab-hailing service in Gurugram

Trevel, an electric mobility startup company co-founded by Sahil Jindal (Managing Director of the Jindal Group), along with Mishu Ahluwalia, Rishi Raj Kochhar, and Nagarjun K R, has launched its electric vehicle (EV) cab-hailing service in Gurugram. The company plans to expand its fleet to 500 electric cabs by 2026.

The service currently offers city travel, airport transfers, corporate mobility, and hourly rentals, with outstation services planned for a later phase. Trevel follows a self-managed fleet model in which vehicles are owned and operated by the company, and drivers are employed on monthly payrolls. The centrally managed and standardised operating model is designed to serve both individual commuters and enterprise clients, with plans to expand operations beyond Gurugram as part of its growth strategy.

According to the company, Trevel has introduced a zero-cancellation policy and an on-time service commitment supported by route planning and scheduling systems. Vehicles are equipped with dash cameras to monitor driving behaviour and operational parameters, along with GPS-enabled live location-sharing features for passengers.
