Tata Motors introduces the Ace EV in Nepal

On September 22, 2023, Tata Motors, a prominent commercial vehicle manufacturer, introduced the Ace EV in Nepal in collaboration with its authorized distributor, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd. The Ace EV is a four-wheel small commercial vehicle designed for intra-city applications, with zero emissions and advanced technology. This launch of the Ace EV in Nepal represents its entry into the global market and represents a step towards eco-friendly transportation. The initial fleet of Ace EVs was delivered to customers in Kathmandu.

The Tata Ace EV incorporates Tata Motors’ cutting-edge EVOGEN powertrain technology. This model boasts with a certified range of 154 kilometers, ensuring reliable operation in various weather conditions. The vehicle is equipped with an advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking, enhancing its driving range. With the capability for both regular and fast charging, it offers high uptime. Powered by a 27kW motor with 130Nm of peak torque, the Ace EV provides efficient transport, even when fully loaded. Additionally, the vehicle’s container is customized to meet the specific requirements of Nepal. The vehicle also features a telematics system for real-time vehicle tracking and efficient fleet management.

The Ace EV, developed collaboratively with input from users and supported by a comprehensive ecosystem, provides a extensive solution for e-cargo mobility. A dedicated team of experts will offer 24×7 support for the Ace EV fleet, supplemented by state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Support Centres (EVSC).
