Spark Minda secures INR 750 crore order to produce EV chargers

One of India’s leading manufacturers of automotive components, Spark Minda Group, has secured a significant contract from a leading OEM to produce battery chargers for electric vehicles (EVs).

The lifetime value of the order is INR 750 crores.

The awarded product will be manufactured at Spark Minda Green Mobility Systems Private Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Minda Corporation Limited) facility at Pune.

During the last financial year, electric vehicles accounted for nearly 20% of Spark Minda’s total orders. This project will further solidify Spark Minda’s position as a leader in green and connected mobility. This order win will enhance Spark Minda’s range of EV offerings and underscore the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
