PMI Electro Mobility delivers 15 E-Buses to Dharamshala (HP)
Electric bus manufacturer and fleet operator PMI Electro Mobility has expanded its reach to 27 cities across the country by delivering electric buses in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. PMI is currently the largest e-bus OEM in India, with over 1,100 operational e-buses, said a release.

In Dharamshala, PMI has delivered 15 electric buses, which were flagged off by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sh Sukhvinder Singh. Under the contract, PMI Electro Mobility will provide 50 electric buses to Himachal Road Transport Corporation for Dharamshala and maintain them for a period of 10 years. These buses are expected to save over 14,000 tons of CO2 emissions during their 10-year contract period, with each bus saving 28,000 kg of CO2 annually.
PMI’s Chairman expressed pride in delivering the buses and highlighted their commitment to providing electric buses with advanced features such as air suspension, real-time monitoring systems through CCTV cameras, pre-emptive diagnostics, and more through their indigenous technology. They will operate and manage the buses with the help of tech-enabled electric bus depots in Dharamshala to ensure reliable services.
PMI said that the company is dedicated to supporting state governments in achieving sustainable transportation goals. Their electric buses are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, making them reliable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective.
