Ola Electric launches electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro – starting at Rs 99,999

Ola Electric announced the launch of first vehicles in its range of electric 2Ws – Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. Ola S1 starts at Rs 99,999 not including state govt incentives, registration and insurance. The company will officially open Ola S1 for purchase from 8th September 2021, and plans to start delivering across 1000 cities and towns in October. Vehicle Specifications

The Ola scooters S1 and S1 Pro claim a range of 121 km and 181 km; and a top speed of 90 km/h and 115 km/h respectively. Both EVs come with an 8.5 kW (peak power) motor and can add up to 75 km of range in 18 mins of fast charging. The vehicles come with fixed Li-ion batteries, are powered by a proprietary operating system called MoveOS, and are available in 10 different colours.

Pricing

The ex-showroom price for Ola S1 is INR 99,999, whereas the same for Ola S1 pro is INR 1,29,999. After state subsidy in Delhi, the S1 would cost Rs 85,099 whereas in Gujarat it would be Rs 79,999.
