Lohia unveils electric L5 passenger 3W Youdha EPOD at ₹2.79 lakh

Lohia has launched its new L5 category electric three-wheeler, the Youdha EPOD, at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.79 lakh. The vehicle has been under development for nearly three years and is positioned for the Indian passenger mobility segment. The EPOD comes with a certified range of 227 km and is powered by an 11.8 kWh LFP battery and a 6 kW motor.

Specifications include a speed of up to 45 km/h, charging time of 4 to 5 hours, a GVW of 725 kg, and dimensions of 2820 mm x 1350 mm x 1785 mm. The vehicle uses a monocoque chassis and has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. It also offers City and Boost driving modes, 3.75 R12 tyres, and a gradeability of 13 degrees.

The EPOD is manufactured in India and is part of Lohia’s mobility initiative. The company states it will continue expanding its network and product offerings across the country.
