Incharz and 3ECO sign MoU to develop EV charging stations for cargo vehicles

Incharz, an EV Charge Point Operator, has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3ECO, a manufacturer of L-3 and L-5 cargo vehicles and an EV Cargo Fleet Operator, to develop exclusive EV charging stations for 3ECO’s fleet across India. This initiative aims to establish a nationwide network of EV charging infrastructure to meet the charging needs of 3ECO’s vehicle fleet. The EV charging stations will charge approximately 200-300 EV cargo vehicles per day, as claimed by their official statement. Incharz targets charging 1000 of 3ECO’s cargo vehicles by the end of 2024.

Incharz is a brand of Servotech EV Infra Pvt. Ltd., an EV Charge Point Operator that provides EV charging services and is a subsidiary of Servotech Power Systems Ltd. 3ECO will provide fleet hubs for setting up the EV charging stations. Incharz will be responsible for designing, installing, operating, and maintaining the stations at various locations throughout India. The stations will support multiple charging standards and be compatible with various electric vehicle models.

Neeraj Gupta, AVP Operations at Incharz, commented on the partnership, noting that it aligns with their strategic goals to expand their network across major cities in India and explore opportunities with bus operators, large fleet operators, and truck charging along highways.
