Bangalore-based electric mobility startup iGowise Mobility (iGo) partners with EVMI Solutions, Subeez and Yaanco SAS to expand to UK, Switzerland and South America respectively. The partnership comes as a step to co-develop next gen electric trikes (3W EV Pax), aligning with iGo’s vision of creating electric vehicles using their modular LeanEV platform. iGo plans to roll out fully assembled e-trikes before 2026, alongside establishing local micro-assembly shops within 24-30 months. iGo recently partnered with a domestic fleet aggregator (Hala Mobility) to deploy 2000 high speed e-trikes, while also looking at a potential USD 50 million deal with a Middle Eastern fleet operator.

iGo founder Sravan Kumar Apanna talked about the recent partnerships – “For the first time, we will pioneer by exporting our technology”. iGo’s partnerships are tailored to regional needs and cultural nuances, with the North-European markets prioritizing battery efficiency, the South-American markets focusing on weather resistant designs and the Middle Eastern markets focusing on LEVs that can function in extreme heat; as per the official statement. Dr. Ankur Seth, founder of Yaanco also talked about the partnership in positive light – “iGo’s unique technology will play a role in ensuring safety, capacity, comfort and reliability”.
