Green Drive Mobility to deploy 100 electric refrigerated trucks for More Retail operations

EV fleet operator Green Drive Mobility, in partnership with Montra Electric and TVS Vehicle Mobility Solution, has partnered to deploy 100 EVIATOR 350 electric refrigerated trucks across major cities in India to support More Retail’s quick commerce operations.

According to the companies, the deployment is aimed at supporting temperature-controlled logistics operations in urban areas. The EVIATOR 350 is equipped with a refrigeration system capable of maintaining temperatures between -25°C and +25°C, enabling the transportation of perishable and temperature-sensitive products.

The companies stated that the vehicle offers a range of over 130 km per charge during refrigerated operations. With a 45-minute DC fast charge, the operating range can be extended to more than 250 km. The companies said the deployment could reduce emissions compared to conventional refrigerated trucks.

Hari Krishna, Managing Director of Green Drive Mobility, said “For us, the priority is operational efficiency at scale. The EVIATOR 350 delivers consistent temperature control along with strong real-world range, which is critical for high-frequency quick commerce operations. What stands out is its ability to maintain performance across long operating hours without compromising uptime. This directly improves asset utilisation and makes electric cold chain logistics commercially viable for us.”

G. Srinivasa Raghavan, Managing Director of TVS Smart Mobility, said “Electric mobility can only scale when fleet operators have confidence in the performance and reliability of the assets they put on the road. In specialised segments such as cold chain logistics, where uptime and consistency are critical, that confidence becomes even more important. The deployment of the EVIATOR 350 demonstrates how the right combination of technology, service support, and strong OEM partnerships can make electric fleets a practical choice for demanding logistics operations. We are pleased to work alongside Montra Electric and Green Drive Mobility on this initiative, which reflects the growing maturity of the EV ecosystem and its ability to support complex, high-utilisation commercial applications at scale.”

Saju Nair, CEO of Montra Electric (e-SCV), said, “Cold chain logistics is one of the most demanding segments in urban transport, where performance, precision, and uptime are non-negotiable. With the EVIATOR 350, we have developed a purpose-built solution that integrates refrigeration with electric mobility seamlessly. This deployment validates that EVs can move beyond standard cargo and reliably support specialised, high-performance logistics applications at scale.”

Green Drive Mobility currently operates across 10 cities. The company has scaled its fleet from 1,500 vehicles in FY24 to ~3,000 vehicles in FY25 across 2W, 3W, and 4W EV segments. Its revenues have also grown from ₹17.9 crore in FY24 to ₹25.9 crore in FY25, with a projected turnover of ₹48–50 crore in FY26.
