Euler Motors launches 1-tonne electric 4W commercial vehicle at ₹5.99 lakh

Euler Motors has announced the launch of the Euler Turbo EV 1000, a 1-tonne four-wheeler electric commercial vehicle (eCV), priced from ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company stated that the vehicle can help operators save up to ₹1.15 lakh annually compared to diesel-powered alternatives.

Euler Motors, a Delhi-based startup, is an OEM focused on manufacturing electric commercial vehicles for cargo delivery. According to the company, the Turbo EV 1000 is the first eCV in the 1-tonne category and the third product from its portfolio, following the Storm EV. The company stated that the model introduces nine first-in-segment features. Specifications include:

  • Battery – Lithium-ion | 15.36 kWh | Warranty – 5 years or 150,000 kms
  • Payload capacity – 1,000 kg | GVW – 1900 Kg
  • Load Body – up to 8.3 ft / 220 cu ft
  • Range of 140-170 kmsMotor – LV AC PMSM | Peak power – 15 kW | Torque – 120 Nm
  • Motor – LV AC PMSM | Peak power – 15 kW | Torque – 120 Nm
  • 230 MM Disc Brake on R13 Wheel Platform
  • AC charging – 4 to 4.5 hours
  • CCS 2 fast charging – 50 km range addition with 15 mins of fast charging

The vehicle will be available in three variants: CITY (₹5,99,999), FAST CHARGE (₹8,19,999), and MAXX (₹7,19,999). Financing options include EMIs starting at ₹10,000 per month with a down payment of ₹49,999.

The company said the vehicle is positioned for small fleet operators and driver-entrepreneurs, aiming to address challenges related to upfront costs, running expenses, and total cost of ownership in the commercial vehicle segment.

Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, said the launch aligns with evolving transport policies, GST reforms, and changing fleet economics in Indian cities. He added that the Turbo EV 1000 could play a role in increasing electric penetration in the 4W commercial vehicle segment, which is currently estimated at around 2%.
