Endurance Tech to invest INR 47.3 crore in Li-ion battery plant

Endurance Technologies Limited has announced plans to set up a new manufacturing facility at Mindewadi, Taluka Maval, District Pune, Maharashtra. The facility will focus on the production of lithium-ion battery packs designed for mobility and energy storage applications.

According to a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company has allocated approximately INR 47.3 crore in capital expenditure for this greenfield project. The investment will be funded through internal accruals.

The lithium-ion battery packs are expected to be launched in January 2026 and will cater to the domestic market. The proposed capacity of the facility is around 35,000 packs per month, to be added in phases starting from the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025–26.

This new initiative represents an expansion of Endurance Technologies’ product portfolio. While the company currently supplies battery management systems through its subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., this development marks its entry into the direct manufacturing of battery packs. The project is described by the company as a strategic move to support the increasing demand in the mobility and energy storage sectors.
