Eicher and Pickkup deploy 100 Eicher Pro X EV small trucks for logistics

Eicher Trucks and Buses, a unit of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has partnered with Pickkup, a logistics service provider, to introduce 100 Eicher Pro X EV small trucks. The first 50 vehicles have been deployed in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru for operations involving retail distribution, e-commerce, FMCG, and perishable goods.

Pickkup currently operates with a fully electric four-wheeler fleet under an asset-light model, catering to e-commerce companies and logistics operators. The deployment of Eicher Pro X EV trucks aligns with its expansion of mid-mile and last-mile logistics services. It offers segment-specific cargo space, CCS2-enabled charging, and is integrated with Eicher’s service and support network.

The Eicher Pro X EV is manufactured at VECV’s Bhopal plant in India and comes with CCS2 fast-charging compatibility. The vehicle is supported by Eicher’s Uptime Centre and the My Eicher digital platform, which provide diagnostic support and vehicle monitoring for fleet operators. The vehicle is designed and manufactured in India as part of VECV’s focus on developing mobility solutions for the local market.
