Creatara Mobility Opens Electric Two-Wheeler Manufacturing Plant in Faridabad

Delhi-NCR-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Creatara Mobility has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Faridabad, Haryana, with an installed annual production capacity of 30,000 units.

The facility will manufacture Creatara’s IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers for domestic and export markets. First showcased in January 2025, both models are based on Creatara’s proprietary platform and have completed product development, testing and certification. The vehicles feature an AI-ready Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and portable, swappable battery packs, according to the company.

Creatara said the facility has been designed to support scalable and standardised production, with a focus on quality control and process consistency. The company has also developed in-house capabilities across powertrain, battery systems, electronics, tooling, connected technology, testing and manufacturing.

The company follows the Japanese 5S methodology — Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain — at its manufacturing facility.

Speaking at the inauguration, Vikas Gupta, Founder & CEO of Creatara Mobility, said “Creatara’s journey has never been about factories first, but about a vision realized step by step. It began with an idea, evolved into a product, proved its potential, and achieved certification. Now, that vision is being industrialised and scaled. The path has been deliberate: Build → Validate → Certify → Industrialise → Scale — each stage strengthening the next.”

Founded in 2018 Creatara Mobility develops electric two-wheelers and related vehicle technologies, with a focus on connected features, customisation and electric powertrain systems.
