Bajaj Auto introduces Bajaj GoGo electric passenger 3W models

Bajaj Auto Ltd. has introduced Bajaj GoGo, a new brand for its electric three-wheelers. The lineup consists of three variants: P5009, P5012, and P7012. In this naming convention, ‘P’ represents passenger vehicles, ’50’ and ’70’ indicate the vehicle size, and ’09’ and ’12’ correspond to battery capacities of 9 kWh and 12 kWh, respectively. The initial passenger models, P5009 and P7012, are priced at INR 3,26,797 and INR 3,83,004 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively. Bookings are available at Bajaj Auto dealerships across India.

The electric three-wheeler segment in India has grown at an annual rate of 30% over the past three years, driven by government policies and the cost advantages of electric vehicles. Bajaj Auto has introduced Bajaj GoGo as part of its efforts to expand in this market and offer electric alternatives. The company’s existing range of electric three-wheelers has been adopted by users within a year of its launch.

Bajaj GoGo will replace the existing lineup of Bajaj electric three-wheelers. The name “GoGo” is derived from common terminology used by drivers and passengers for three-wheelers. Cargo variants are planned for future release.
