VIDA, powered by Hero, has entered Nepal, its first international market, through a distributor partnership with CG Motors (Chaudhary Group), marking the start of the brand’s global operations

The company has launched the VIDA VX2 electric scooter range—comprising the VX2 Plus and VX2 Go—along with the VIDA DIRT.E K3 electric off-road bike for young riders. The models will be sold in Nepal through CG Motors.

The VX2 Plus features a 4.4 kWh dual removable battery, a claimed 140 km real-world range, 90 km/h top speed, 18-degree gradeability, 0–40 km/h in 3.1 seconds, and DC fast charging (0–80%) in 65 minutes. The VX2 Go gets a 2.2 kWh removable battery, a claimed 75 km real-world range, 70 km/h top speed, 0–40 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and the same 65-minute DC fast charging.

Both scooters support home charging via a standard 5A socket and offer navigation, geo-fencing, call/SMS alerts, OTA updates, and My VIDA app connectivity. The VIDA DIRT.E K3 is equipped with a 350W motor, 360Wh removable battery, up to three hours of riding time, three app-controlled speed modes, and 20–80% charging in about two hours.

Hero MotoCorp has been present in Nepal since 2014. With the launch of the VIDA range, the company has expanded its portfolio in the country by entering the electric mobility segment.

Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said, “This launch marks a proud and defining moment as VIDA goes global. The VIDA VX2 EVOOTER range and the VIDA DIRT.E K3 are built to redefine the future of mobility, and through our collaboration with CG Motors, we are ensuring that the Nepalese customers have access to premium, reliable, and technologically advanced riding experience.”

Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director, Chaudhary Group, Nepal, commented, “The entry of VIDA perfectly aligns with Nepal’s shift towards sustainable mobility. By offering advanced electric products & solutions tailored for both, everyday commuters and the next generation of riders, this product launch redefines our two-wheeler landscape.
