Hero MotoCorp’s VIDA launches VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh electric scooter at ₹1.44 lakh

VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, has launched the VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh, expanding the VX2 lineup to four variants.

Priced at ₹1,43,990 (effective ex-showroom, New Delhi), the new variant is equipped with two removable 2.2 kWh battery packs, offering a combined battery capacity of 4.4 kWh and an IDC-certified range of 187 km.

The scooter is supplied with a 1 kW portable charger, which charges the battery from 0% to 80% in 3 hours and 30 minutes. It also supports DC fast charging, enabling a 0% to 80% charge in 65 minutes. VIDA stated that customers can access its network of over 6,000 fast charging stations and 700+ service touchpoints.

The VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh delivers a top speed of 90 km/h, 6 kW peak power, and 26 Nm of torque. It features Eco, Ride, and Sport riding modes, along with a Boost function. Other features include a 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, and a combined braking system (CBS).

VIDA also announced that the scooter has been recognised by the Asia Book of Records for the “Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter.” According to the company, rider Girish Shet completed a 12,111 km journey over 52 days, travelling from Bengaluru to Delhi via cities that hosted Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) matches.

The company said the VIDA VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh will be available through authorised dealerships across India by the end of July 2026. It will also be offered with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans.
