Omega Seiki Mobility To Begin Controlled Deployment of Swayamgati Autonomous Electric 3W

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has launched Swayamgati, a production-ready autonomous electric three-wheeler for commercial deployment. The passenger variant is priced at ₹4.00 lakhs, and a cargo version priced at ₹4.15 lakhs will be launched soon. Swayamgati integrates OSM’s electric vehicle platform with an AI-based retrofit autonomy system. It is designed for short-distance transport in airports, campuses, industrial parks, gated communities, and urban areas. The vehicle operates on pre-mapped routes, customizable based on client requirements.

It offers a battery range of up to 120 km on a single charge and includes lidar, GPS, AI-based obstacle detection up to 6 meters, multi-sensor navigation, and remote safety controls. Target deployments include airports, tech parks, campuses, smart cities, and industrial hubs. OSM claims to produce 1,500 autonomous vehicles over the next 24 months.

The statement also added that Swayamgati has recently completed Phase 1 testing with a 3-km autonomous route that included 7 stops, real-time obstacle detection, and safe passenger movement—all without human intervention. With these results validated, Phase 2 now begins with commercial rollout in controlled environments.

Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility, said: “The launch of Swayamgati is not just a product introduction—it’s a bold step into the future of Indian transportation. Autonomous vehicles are no longer a futuristic concept; they are a present-day necessity for nations seeking sustainable and scalable mobility. With Swayamgati, we are showing that India doesn’t need to follow global trends—we can lead them. This vehicle proves that cutting-edge tech like AI, Lidar, and autonomous navigation can be made in India, for India, and at a price point that makes it truly accessible. We are building technology that serves people—not just headlines.”

Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer, Omega Seiki Mobility, commented: “Swayamgati is a result of deep R&D and a clear vision: to democratize autonomy. Our Autonomous Electric Three Wheeler enables us to leapfrog traditional EV barriers and bring intelligent systems into everyday mobility. Autonomous EVs will redefine how India moves in cities, campuses, and industrial zones—and we are proud to be at the forefront of that transformation.”
