Servotech Renewable granted patent for CCS2 to GB/T EV charging conversion technology

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., an Indian EV charger manufacturer and renewable energy solutions provider, has been granted a patent by the Indian Patent Office for its innovation titled “System and Method for Charging an Electric Vehicle.” The technology enables charging of GB/T-based electric vehicles using CCS2 DC fast chargers, addressing a key compatibility requirement as the industry moves toward CCS2 standards.

The device functions as a converter that connects to a CCS2 charger and supports charging of GB/T vehicles. According to the company, the system has completed trials on select GB/T-enabled electric buses and commercial cabs. Servotech is evaluating deployment options with fleet operators, public transport agencies, and commercial charging networks.
