Mahindra launches XUV 3XO EV at ₹13.89 lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (part of the Mahindra Group) has launched the XUV 3XO EV, an electric version of its subcompact SUV, with prices starting at ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is offered in two variants—AX5 and AX7L—and deliveries are scheduled to begin on February 23, 2026.
The XUV 3XO EV is equipped with a 39.4 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed real-world driving range of up to 285 km. The electric powertrain delivers 110 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0–100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. DC fast charging allows a 0–80% charge in approximately 50 minutes using a 50 kW charger, while a 7.2 kW wall charger is available as an optional accessory at an additional cost. Variant-wise pricing (ex-showroom) is ₹13.89 lakh for AX5 and ₹14.96 lakh for AX7L.
Both variants come with multiple drive modes—Fun, Fast and Fearless—and a range of technology and safety features. These include Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car technology with over 80 features, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a digital infotainment and instrument cluster. Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, four-wheel disc brakes, and a rear-view camera.
The AX7L variant adds Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and smart pilot assist. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround view system with blind view monitor, Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless charging, and front parking assist.
The XUV 3XO EV is based on the XUV 3XO platform, which was launched in April 2024 and has recorded cumulative sales of around 1.8 lakh units. Mahindra stated that the electric version is intended primarily for urban and intra-city usage.
