India’s Electric Vehicle sales trend | November 2025

Electric vehicle sales in India showed a mixed trend in November 2025 compared to October. E-rickshaw sales increased to 48,821 units from 37,106, E-carts rose to 8,160 from 6,981, and E3W L5 Cargo/Goods grew to 2,708 from 2,560. E3W L5 Passenger remained stable at 23,992 units against 23,954 in October, while E-bus sales increased to 369 from 290. However, E2W sales declined to 1,16,925 from 1,44,636, and E4W fell to 14,742 from 18,984. Sales in the E-goods carrier category dropped to 1,317 from 1,483.

India recorded 22,08,920 EV sales from Dec 2024 to Nov 2025, per Vahan Dashboard data (excluding Telangana and low-speed e-2Ws). Monthly sales peaked in October 2025 (2,36,142) and were lowest in Feb 2025 (1,40,171).

The penetration of electric vehicles (EVs) in the two-wheeler category remained the same for the last two months at 4.6%.

The top 3 brands for Nov 2025 regarding the number of electric passenger 3Ws registered are Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Bajaj Auto, and TVS Motor.

In Nov 2025, the electric three wheeler goods sales were led by Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Bajaj Auto, and Atul Auto.

In November 2025, the e-rickshaw sales were led by YC Electric, Zeniak Innovation and SAERA Electric.

The penetration of electric vehicles (EVs) in the four-wheeler passenger car/cab segment increased from 3.4% in October to 4.3% in November 2025.

Tata Motors is the clear leader, with over 41% of the market share, followed by JSW MG Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Pinnacle Mobility sold the most electric buses in Nov 2025, followed by Olectra Greentech and PMI Electro Mobility.

Tata Motors is the clear leader with over 37% market share in e-goods carrier sales in November 2025, followed by Mahindra & Mahindra and Euler Motors.
